I was quite nervous of driving and had so many gaps in my knowledge but Joe was an amazing teacher, he literally helped me beat my fears and gain so much confidence in driving. Hi! I’m writing a review regarding Joe Trzeja’s driving lessons! He was amazing and a wonderful teacher! I passed first time and his mock tests were very helpful. His feedback is helpful and all his techniques allowed me consistently produce good results leading up to the test. I not only passed first time but I think I have the skills to be a good and safe driver! 

 

Richard was a suburb instructor, we had a bit of a bumpy journey on my road to a pass,  but we got there!

 

I started to learn to drive with Richard , he was very patient with me and adapted how he worked with me so i learned easier. He explained things with patience and never got angry or annoyed when i did something silly – even though i would of been with me if i was him !

 

We were the victim of a serious police car chase, the day before my test in October. It wrote of Richards car and we were unable to do the test as he needed to get a new car.

 

He kept in contact with me and when he got his new car he kindly let me get used to it again before we set of for attempt two at passing a test.

 

 

I would recommend richard to anyone learning to drive , he is kind, very good at explaining why we do what we do on the road and is very quick to find “ how you learn” and adapt his teaching style to help you.  

 

Honestly cant thank him and street driving enough 🙂

I was an extremely nervous woman going to my first lesson but Rich was the best at putting me at ease. I passed first time yesterday and would recommend Rich to anyone, very patient and a very good instructor!!

 

Idriz at Streetlife has been the most patient, understanding, encouraging, supportive instructor. Driving hasn’t been the easiest journey for me but I passed my test this week after a tough few months and some previous bad experiences. I could not have done it without him as he’s turned this all around. Thank you Idriz, for making our lessons fun and enjoyable and assuring me that I am a safe driver, ready for the roads. I cannot recommend you highly enough!

My son Edward passed his test early this week. He has ASD and mild learning difficulties so his journey was a bigger life challenge than the average. Ed started with Hannah Harding who left to have a baby and Andy Martin took over about about 6 months ago. Support from both have been faultless. They both went above and beyond to get Edward through creating different strategies to support him.They were amazing and an absolute privilege to have as driving instructors. After the fourth test you finally got him his independence and freedom. Huge thanks to you both xx

 

Passed first time in Colchester today! Cannot recommend Mary enough. I’ve had a couple driving instructors in the past and Mary is the only one to make me feel comfortable, improve so much and really help me actually ENJOY driving. Not only is she an amazing driving instructor but she’s a lovely person to be taught by. If anybody is looking for a new driving instructor, go with Mary! Couldn’t have passed without her!!!

 

Would 100% recommend Andrew Martin for anyone for a first time learner ! Originally I was with a different driving school and my confidence was lacking severally for the hours I had done but, as soon as I swapped to Andrew my confidence blew resulting in me being able to pass first time !

Steve was an incredible driving instructor. I was someone who knew absolutely nothing about cars and how they even moved, but Steve slowly and precisely talked me through everything. He is a very kind man who makes time for his students and puts in all his effort to help them. I passed first time with Steve as my instructor with only 1 minor! I would thoroughly recommend Steve!

I started my driving lessons a few years ago with a different company I literally was getting no where I had zero confidence so just gave up 😕 so my sister found street life and she’s probably the most shyest person you could ever meet and she was enjoying her lessons and passed within a few months so then I decided to book from the moment I got in the car I was so calm and I learnt more in my one less than I ever did when I was with the other company a few months later I passed I really can’t thank dave enough I passed 2 months ago I kept stalling the car and I asked Dave if he could come out with me he booked me in straight away and just one hour with Dave I’m feeling so much more confident Dave literally goes above and beyond for his pupils so if u live around Chelmsford definitely give Dave a call xx Gemma Page

I cannot recommend Dave enough he taught me in his automatic car in Braintree , I was super nervous fell pregnant half way through our lessons so he had to be patient when I needed to stop , I have had a number of instructors of which I didn’t get on with , he was the only one I trusted and could feel comfortable around , he was kind , patient , understanding and funny , in the end he became a friend and I am so thankful to him without him I wouldn’t be on the road after a very long journey of doing lessons with other instructors  Caroline Mayers

Thank you for a brilliant driving experience! Steve was very kind, encouraging and calm in the car which made driving a lot less daunting and gave great advice on how to improve each week. He was also very patient and ensured that you could spend a lesson improving on what you wanted, which I really appreciated. Furthermore, he was very consistent and reliable and never cancelled a lesson. He was always there each week, so there was never a long gap between lessons which made things generally much easier. Passed my test first time. Richard was a splendid instructor from first to last. He dug me out of a hole caused by another firm cancelling last minute. I was made to feel at ease from the very first moment I was picked up, which is very much needed being a learner driver. I was given expert guidance and encouragement throughout my intensive course which enabled me to pass. A huge thank you to Rich, I can not recommend him highly enough. Top bloke, top instructor!

I would highly recommend Joe for an instructor, he took me to Chelmsford for my first lesson which was scary but I would definitely not be able to say I have passed first time otherwise. What a perfect email to start the day
This is just a quick note of thanks having recently passed (first time)
I suffer with a serious anxiety condition and in July when you put me and Your instructor in touch I said to him that this may be tough for me and I may struggle with keeping it up.
Throughout the lessons and test He has made the experience easy, fun and beneficial. Quickly the nerves disappeared as he instilled confidence in me and during my near intense first week I changed from being nervous to drive to very excited and confident behind the wheel. I think he was the perfect choice for me and can see him being a serious asset to you for nervous drivers. I can’t believe that in such a short period of time he managed to move me from a worried novice to confident learner to actually not only bring test ready but passing first time. I’m so happy with the whole experience and will definitely be recommending you further. It feels amazing to have my licence and I’m grateful for his, and in turn your, professionalism, patience and kindness throughout.
Anyway, I thought my instructor and yourselves as a school deserved a little feedback on a wonderful experience.

Just wanted to leave a bit of feedback with regards to your company and Steve.
When I moved to Chelmsford and was looking for an instructor as soon as I contacted Streetlife I instantly felt at ease and knew that this company was the right one for me.
I had previously failed 5 tests in Clacton and was fast approaching my theory expiring. Steve was fantastic and taught me in my first lesson than my previous instructor had. He made me feel a lot more confident with my driving and managed to get me passed first time with you guys.

My Instructor Tony was amazing i started learning when i was 17 and had 7 year break, and tony made me feel confident and comfortable and had faith when i didn’t, he never let me plod through always pushing me knowing i could do it he is a amazing instructor and thanks to him i passed, our lessons where always full with new things to learn and bits i didn’t feel confident in he would fit in and allow me to practice he was amazing its good i passed but a shame as no more Saturday lessons i highly recommend tony to anyone he pushed me when i thought i couldn’t do it thank you tony, Lauren x

Just wanted to say a huge thank you to Graeme, who made it possible for me to pass first time yesterday after two months of lessons and no previous experience.
I was petrified of learning to drive and didn’t want to learn at all but needed to for work. However Graeme was incredibly calm and patient throughout which helped hugely in easing my nerves and was always willing to answer my questions and support me through things I wasn’t sure of.
He was very flexible with my lesson times, fitting them in around my work and always managed to fit me in for the hours I wanted.
I would recommend Graeme (and Streetlife!) to all, especially anyone who is as nervous as I was. As you will quickly become more confident and are able to learn at your own speed.

I’d love to thank my wonderful driving instructor Tony, who has been very supportive throughout my time during lessons.
Tony as a driving instructor is very kind naturtured, always up for a giggle, friendly, strict on occations when needs be but also very fair. Tony is also very professional.
Before I came to Street life i was within another driving school.. ( I will now slander another driving school) but, all in all.. i wasn’t going far within my lessons, and I was paying a lot of money.
Ever since leaving that driving school and headed to Street life, I have learnt so much in a short space of time. Without Carl placing me with Tony, I would of still been stuck..
I recomend anyone to Tony..
Words cannot explain how grea and confident I feel as a newly passed student.
A small note to Carl, please place more future new students to Tony, as they will learn so much greater. He is honestly a one in a million.
